Digital Imaging is a computer art course that introduces students to the fundamental elements and principles of design, art history, and the creative use of the computer as an art-making tool. Students will develop their critical thinking skills, creativity and their ability to communicate visually. A basic foundation of drawing, design, color theory, illustration, juxtaposition and technology is addressed throughout this course. Students gain an understanding of a variety of software applications (photo, paint, illustration, and page design programs) to realize their unique artistic visions.
