This is a full-year introductory course for those with an interest in theater. Students will explore the connections between theatre arts and other disciplines. Course work includes: various elements of acting with emphasis on physical and vocal skills of an actor, theatre history, study of a minimum of three plays, stage terminology, and a brief overview of stage conventions. This is an activity-based, academic course.
