Pat Dillard Special Achievement Center – eer Partnering (PALS)

Peer tutors are to be an integral part of the LIFE Skills Program, established to meet the needs of the severely handicapped students as they prepare to meet the post high school world. Tutors will be involved in one-to-one and group instruction, charting levels of independence, supervising vocational activities, recording accuracy or quality, behavior management and aid in the development of interdependent social skills. Instruction will take place both in the academic classroom, gym, and in the community. This course is strongly suggested for those interested in the field of special education.This course does not meet PE requirements.
