Pat Dillard Special Achievement Center – AP Art 2-D Design Portfolio

This course is designed to address a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional (2-D) design issues. Students are asked to demonstrate a proficiency in 2-D design which includes, but is not limited to, graphic design, typography, digital imaging, photography, collage, fabric design, weaving, illustration, painting, and printmaking. Students should expect to spend 5-10 hours a week outside of class working on art assignments. An electronic portfolio will be submitted to the College Board and those students with passing portfolios may earn college credit.Fees will apply for supplies, etc. needed for the course. Students are expected to submit their 2D portfolio for AP scoring in May.
Prerequisites: Art I or Art I Advanced and any Art II Course
