To be prepared for a growing digital culture, students will attain academic skills and knowledge about Adobe Creative Cloud products, specifically Adobe Photoshop, through practical and hands-on activities in class. Using critical thinking skills, analysis, critical writing and practice, students will apply the skills and knowledge of the tools and tricks of Adobe products to create original images, with an emphasis on creating fine art images. This class includes but is not limited to the use of digital painting, composite art, basic photography and terms, and photo manipulation. Students are expected to participate in various art shows and portfolio reviews throughout the year. Fees will apply for supplies, etc. needed for the course.
