Pat Dillard Special Achievement Center – AP Art Drawing Portfolio

AP Drawing Portfolio is designed to address a very broad interpretation of drawing issues and media. Light and shade, line quality, rendering of form, composition, surface manipulation, and illusion of depth are some of the drawing issues that will be addressed. Works may be in painting, printmaking and mixed, as well as abstract, observational and inventive methods. AP Drawing Portfolio is a college-level course, and students should expect to spend 5-10 hours a week outside of class working on art assignments. An electronic portfolio will be submitted to the College Board in May and those students with passing portfolios may earn college credit. Fees will apply for supplies, etc. needed for the course. Students are expected to submit their Drawing portfolio for AP scoring in May.
