Mount Tabor High School – IB MYP Civic Literacy

Students consider government and public administration, law and public safety, human services, marketing, international development, cultural and political affairs, urban and regional planning, sustainability, conservations and environmental management as related to the tenets of American democracy established by the U.S. Constitution, the American political system and citizenship. The course serves as the required Civics Literacy credit for graduation. The course addresses the required state curriculum and the IB MYP through global contexts, interdisciplinary units, student collaboration and Socratic Seminars.
