“Monterey High School will prepare students, utilizing a personalized learning plan, to be ready and able to enter higher education or the workforce environment. We will accomplish this by recovering A-G requirement credits sufficient to graduate with a high school diploma from the Los Angeles Unified School District. At Monterey High School, in partnership with students, parents, and the community, we will provide a positive student-centered environment that ensures students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We do this through personal attention, effective leadership, and dedicated service in a safe environment. We recognize every student as an individual and strive to meet their needs.
