Mill Creek High School – Body Sculpting

This is an activity class consisting of basic instruction and implementing methods of conditioning the body including lifting weights and physical fitness training daily. This weight training class includes weight lifting and conditioning at a moderate tempo that will increase in difficulty progressively throughout the year. This class may include power training exercises, stretching, posture, calisthenics, and running for speed development and conditioning, stations to develop quickness, and lifts and exercises which may be explosive in nature including plyometrics, among other activities.
Prerequisites: Successful completion Personal Fitness and Health required
