PBM is a class where students of any grade level can explore the vast and exciting opportunities in the business world. This course is perfect for students who are unsure of their career path; it's a chance for students to dive into subjects of interest like Advertising, Economics & Finance, Business Management, & Entrepreneurship. Students will gain necessary skills needed in today's workforce like customer service skills, resume and cover letter writing, job interview preparation and more.

This course is an opportunity for students who are highly motivated in the field of business and/or accounting. Students will develop advanced knowledge and skills for the accounting field. Skills for Success in Honors Level: Basic math, organization, self-direction, and time management.

Advanced Accounting students gain knowledge of advanced accounting principles, procedures, and techniques used to solve business problems and make financial decisions. Students work in a technology-integrated environment, using accounting and spreadsheet software to analyze, synthesize, evaluate, and interpret business financial data related to inventory, fixed assets, notes/accounts payable and receivable, implementation of a partnership and a corporation, and other specialized accounting systems.

This course may be a good fit for you if you are interested in pursuing business in college as a major or minor or if you are interested in getting a solid business background to pursue a career in a different field. IB Business Management covers the key components of: management, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, and operations management.

This course is designed to introduce students to a major element of our modern economy--sports, entertainment and recreational fields generate billions of dollars each year for our society. Students will develop an understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in this field. The following topics will be addressed: economics, marketing, business structure, market research, communications, interpersonal relationships, product planning, promotion, selling, sponsorship development, developing public relations/publicity programs, advertising, branding, developing an idea/event, dealing with agents/personal managers, and product licensing.

You'll explore everything from cutting-edge marketing research to financial strategies and legal/ethical considerations, all while learning how to create and execute successful marketing campaigns. MARKETING is an HONORS only CTE class offered to students in grades 10-12 and is designed for high school students who plan to attend college with a concentration in marketing, business, or management. This is a specialized course designed to provide an understanding of planning, implementing, and controlling marketing activities and full-fledged campaigns in business.

This is a foundation course, focusing on three key areas; Workplace skills readiness, the basic language and application of technical design, and an introduction to computer-based sketching & drafting. This course may be a good fit for you if you're interested in architecture, engineering and design-related fields.
