Training in the universal language of industry using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit. Covers basics of drafting through complex techniques for architectural, civil, mechanical, and structural drafting. Students begin training by learning drafting principles and techniques using traditional manual drafting boards and tools. Advance to extensive use of techniques and technology to prepare two-dimensional Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) work using AutoCAD, three dimensional Building Information and Modeling (BIM) drawings using Revit and advanced mechanical design drawings using SolidWorks.

Training in residential, commercial, and industrial systems. Includes conduit bending, blueprint reading, fire alarm installation, specialty tools, and solar photovoltaic introduction. Learn basic electrical principles, residential wiring, commercial wiring, blueprint reading; installation of conduit, and safe work practices. Program content also includes interpreting national and local electrical codes. With additional successful testing, the completion of this program may be used as a substitute for the first year of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program.

The Digital Media/Multimedia Design Technology program offers a basic foundation in the latest New Media software. It is a hands-on computer class, using the Macintosh platform, that provides students with both the knowledge and skills required for a career in Digital Media/Multimedia Design Technology and production of presentations, video editing, web design and simple animation. Preparation for fields in Print or Web Design, Digital Photography, Videography, and Video/Audio Editing using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Digital Photography Technology combines the strengths of today's digital SLR cameras for capturing still images as well as digital video. Comprehensive training in DSLR camera operation (manual mode), studio lighting, portraiture, video cinemagraphs, and digital manipulation using Photoshop. Software applications taught in this 10 month program are Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Premier. Employment opportunities after completion of this program range from working as still photographers to working as video editors. Subjects also included in this program are the creation of High Dynamic Range (HDR) images, the understanding of intellectual property rights, workflow, and creative direction.

Learn the graphic design aspect of the printing and graphic arts industry. Become proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. Receive instruction in typography, design and layout and color principles. Be trained in electronic prepress operations and the components of digital printing systems. Focuses on image manipulation, typography, page layout, scanning, and vector graphics. Includes operation of digital production printing systems and Adobe software proficiency.

The Graphic Communications and Printing Technology program covers the basic principles of computer graphics, design, layout and typography. Adobe software applications InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are used to teach page layout, illustration and photo manipulation. Prepares students for graphic design, prepress fundamentals, and offset lithography operations. Includes hands-on training in press operations, bindery, and finishing.

Prepare for entry-level positions within Television Production Technology by developing proficiency in lighting, camera, audio, and non-linear editing using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. Master techniques of Television Production from directing to producing, from creating graphics to preventative maintenance. Comprehensive training including studio and remote camera operation, sound mixing, lighting, scripting, set design, technical directing, and video editing.
