Mayde Creek High School – Audio/Video Production II

Building upon the concepts taught in Audio/Video Production I, students will be expected to develop an advanced understanding of the industry with a focus on pre-production, production, and post-production product. Pre-requisites: Principles of Arts, A/V Technology and Communications, Digital Communications in the 21st Century, Audio/Video Production I 0271VIR - AP Computer Science A A (Virtual 1.0 credits / Full year course / Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12 Successful completion of this course awards one advanced math credit and one language other than English credit. AP Computer Science A emphasizes programming methodology, procedural abstraction, indepth study of algorithms, data structures and data abstractions and is taught in Java. Students enrolled in an AP course are expected to take the corresponding Advanced Placement exam. NOTE: The advanced math credit will be awarded with the student’s earned, numeric grade and corresponding grade points. The language other than English credit will be awarded with the student’s earned, numeric grade but no grade points are calculated in the GPA. This course must be completed during the Fall and/or Spring semesters. Students are scheduled in after-school periods to complete the asynchronous course. There is a fee assigned to this course. Fees for tuition based virtual courses will be attached to the course, and fees will be paid through Pay N’ Go.
