Students receive instruction in the operation of different types of cameras, audio, technique, digital editing, and film production using an AVID platform. Students learn how to create media graphics for film and video, lighting, script writing, direction, production, special effects, signal control and monitoring equipment, set design, safety, and career opportunities. Note: Students earn six college credit hours upon successful completion of this course; RTVB 1321: TV Field Production (Fall) and RTVB 1329: Scriptwriting (Spring).
