Mayde Creek High School – Fall Personal Financial Literacy (Virtual)

This one-semester elective course is designed to help students develop the knowledge and skills to make sound, informed financial decisions that will allow them to become financially responsible. The course will teach students to apply critical-thinking and problemsolving skills to analyze decisions involving earning and spending, saving and investing, credit and borrowing, insuring and protecting, and college and post-secondary education and training. This course must be completed during the Fall and/or Spring semesters. Students are scheduled in after-school periods to complete the asynchronous course. There is a fee assigned to this course.
