Food and Nutrition Technology Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 1 credit This course is designed to provide a foundation in the study of culinary sciences, food, and nutrition. It offers students the opportunity to prepare healthy foods as an individual, or as a first step in preparation for a career related to food, nutrition, or hospitality services. Practical activities in the laboratory support instruction in consumerism, management, and nutrition. Students will learn and apply safe food handler practices in the lab.
