Programming Fundamentals – G/T Grades 9, 10, 11, 12 1 credit In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of programming concepts and text-based coding using Python. It is predicated on the notion that learning about programming and computer science should be fun and engaging. In this course, students will be exposed to graphics-based problem solving because it is visually engaging, allows for multiple correct solutions, and provides visual cues when a solution goes awry. Additionally, students will be introduced to the Java programming language in order to prepare for additional course work in the academy.
