Lincoln High School – IB Film HL 3-4

In the second year of IB Film, students will learn about and participate in a number of aspects of filmmaking, including pre-production, organization, design, image, sound, and assembly. Students will take on multiple roles including writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and sound through a variety of activities and projects. This work will be showcased in a film portfolio while building towards a collaborative film project, thus completing the final two IB Film assessments. Students may opt to test at the SL or HL level, but all students will complete the requirements for the HL level. For the 2025-2026 school year only, HL will not be available unless enough students are interested in completing the additional film project on top of their regular coursework.
Grades: 12; IB Film HL 1-2 required if students want to test
