Lincoln High School – Construction 5-6 (Interior Design and Architecture)

This advanced level project-based studio course builds upon the previous introduction and intermediate curricula. We will undertake a year-long design build project with actual clients in place. Students will learn more advanced hand and power tools throughout the course. Class sessions are primarily self directed and include hands-on activities, group discussion, demonstrations, and slide presentations to reinforce the key ideas. Greater topics covered include, designing for clients in mind, design for production, contract writing, working with production vendors, career path opportunities.
