Lincoln High School – Construction 3-4 (Interior Design and Architecture)

This intermediate level project-based studio course builds upon the previous introduction curriculum. We will dive deeper into the many facets of the design process and provide an understanding of the steps and elements involved in designing thoughtful and beautiful interior experiences. Students will learn more advanced hand and power tools throughout the course. Class sessions are primarily self directed and include hands-on activities, group discussion, demonstrations, and slide presentations to reinforce the key ideas. Greater topics covered include, designing for clients, investigating problem solving through design, responsible material use, working with production vendors, career path opportunities.
