What will I learn in Avid 10?

AVID 10 focuses on solidifying skills developed in AVID 9 as well as starting to have the opportunity to look into possible post high school plans. We start looking into possible colleges, careers, and other opportunities. This includes resume building, mock interviews, occasional college tours. We continue to support students in school through tutoring, after school study sessions and check ins. AVID 10 students will practice self advocacy, time management, and much more with the understanding that the AVID teacher is always there to support them and catch them if there are any hiccups. AVID is designed for students with a desire to succeed, a willingness to participate in the program and that may need a little extra support and connection for that success to happen!
