Emphasizes more complex form and surfacetreatments using tools, glazes, resists, and multiple clay bodies. Includes additive, subtractive, and modeling methods. Explorestraditional and nontraditional materials for sculpted works and thework of both historical and contemporary sculptural artists.Sculpture courses help improve problem solving skills, selfdiscipline,organization, ability to evaluate one's own performance and abilityto complete long- term projects.
