PEIMS: 13002200 Students will be introduced to basic theory and gain specialized skills in agricultural mechanics. Skills to be developed include identification and safe use of tools, carpentry, electricity, plumbing, masonry, fencing, painting, hot and cold metalworking, and welding processes. Construction of projects will be included in this course. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in extended learning experiences by joining the National FFA Organization. Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course.
