the classroom will give students opportunities to explore a variety of sculpture techniques and processes while further developing the student’s individual style. Students will work from a variety of subject matter using both additive and subtractive sculptural methods with materials such as clay, wire, papier mache and found objects emphasizing studio production. Each student will demonstrate progress over time by developing a body of original artwork and organizing a portfolio. A course fee is required. ART 3 LEVEL COURSES All Art 3 level courses are advanced and place a strong focus on technique, personal voice, and creativity. Students are directed to work on independent projects. These courses will emphasize students creating original artwork for exhibition and/or portfolio purposes. A course fee is required.
