Diploma Programme Visual Arts HL course builds upon the skills developed in SL. The course encourages students to challenge their own creative and cultural expectations and boundaries. In lieu of a traditional exam, this course culminates through the completion of an exhibition curating 8-11 artworks, a process portfolio of experimentation, exploration, and refinement of a variety of art-making activities, and a comparative study analyzing the influences of artists and the ways in which art influences.
