Klein Forest High School – Practicum Veterinary Medical Assisting

Students will participate in a continuation of the Veterinary Medical Applications course gaining more in-depth knowledge in animal anatomy, animal disease, treatment techniques, lab procedures, emergency procedures, and clinical operations. Students will be required to participate in clinical rotations, gaining hands-on experiences working in various veterinary assistant positions. Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course. ADVANCED ANIMAL SCIENCE
