Klein Forest High School – Practicum in Culinary Arts

Students will participate in a practicum learning experience that combines classroom instruction and actual business and industry career experiences. Students are taught employability skills, including job-specific skills applicable to their training plan, job interview techniques, communication skills, financial and budget activities, human relations, and portfolio development.Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course. This course occurs on limited campuses. There may be additional student opportunities based on available openings.
