Klein Forest High School – Floral Design

You will develop and examine floral design in relation to arrangement of flowers, foliage, and related plant materials for interior locations. This course incorporates business practices and careers in the floral industry. You will be responsible for purchasing materials or assessed a fee associated with this course. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extended learning experiences by joining the National FFA Organization. Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course. Note: (Optional) Texas State Floral Association Floral Skills Knowledge Content/Level I, this course also counts as a Fine Art credit. HORTICULTURE SCIENCE
