This course builds on skills learned in Fashion Design I, allowing students to advance their understanding of the fashion industry through design, construction, and production techniques. Students apply principles of design, textiles, and garment construction while developing a professional portfolio and exploring career opportunities in fashion merchandising and design. This course emphasizes creativity, technical skill, and industry-based practices to prepare students for postsecondary study or careers in fashion and related fields.Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course.
