You will participate in a laboratory-oriented course designed to develop the skills used in various aspects of the Floral Design and Horticulture industries. The major focus is preparing individuals to perform common floral design skills and increasing knowledge of horticulture science. The course emphasizes on running and operating a floral design business, the TSFA (Texas State Floral Association) Level 2 Certification, and horticultural management practices as they relate to ornamental plant production.Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course.
