Students will gain advanced knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce as technicians in the HVAC and refrigeration industry or building maintenance industry. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety, electrical theory, use of tools, codes, installation and troubleshooting of commercial equipment, duct systems and maintenance practices. Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course. PRACTICUM IN HVAC & REFRIGERATION
