Klein Collins High School – Food Technology & Safety

Through this course you will examine world food production, governmental regulations regarding foods, and food safety. Methods of processing, preparing, and packaging of foods; exploration of career opportunities, and leadership development are also a vital part of this course. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extended learning experiences by joining the National FFA Organization. Students will be required to take and pass, with 100%, a mandatory safety exam within the first two weeks of school to remain in the course.
