Graphic Production and Design II builds on the skills learned in the first semester, with a focus on advanced techniques and applications in graphic design. Students will delve deeper into the design process, concept development, and research. They will develop sketches and prepare for work in print, including posters, brochures, package design, and illustration for specific audiences. This semester emphasizes studio techniques, communication skills, and commercial art business operations. Students will continue to use traditional art materials and Adobe Creative Suite software to create a portfolio of work for college and career exploration. The course will also explore the history and impact of graphic design on local, national, and international cultures.
