Juanita High School – Architecture & Engineering

This engaging Architecture and Engineering course introduces students to the fundamentals of design, construction, and structural planning through sketching, model building, and computer-aided design (CAD). Students will explore room layout, building codes, and cost estimation while developing a professional portfolio of their work. With opportunities to hear from industry experts, and participate in model building, the course prepares students of all experience levels for careers in architecture or engineering. Most work is completed in class with minimal homework required.
