This course will build upon the foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing acquired in the Level 1 language course. Students will acquire additional skills in expressing personal and biographical information and in giving detailed information about activities, hobbies, family, and friends. Students will acquire sufficient cultural awareness to be comfortable in typical exchanges with native speakers.

Prerequisites: From Grade 8: B- or higher in Chinese 1, from Grade 9, 10, 11 or 12, C or higher in Chinese 1.
