This comprehensive course is dedicated to preparing students for a successful transition into post-graduate life. Instruction moves beyond core academics to strategically focus on the critical functional skills necessary for employment, further education, independent living, and active community participation. Coordinated directly through the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), the curriculum emphasizes building self-sufficiency in daily living skills, social-emotional competence, and career readiness. A major instructional focus is cultivating self-determination by teaching students to confidently advocate for their needs and actively direct their life goals.
