Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School – Personal Branding & N.I.L. for Student Athletes

With the quick movement of Name, Image and Likeness endorsement deals being allowed for collegiate athletics and now in Oregon, high school athletes, this course offering will help support student-athletes in their quest to pursue N.I.L. opportunities and deals. In this course students will learn about developing their own personal brand, managing their social media accounts and the laws and regulations around Name, Image and Likeness deals. With the passage of new rules by the OSAA allowing high school student athletes to enter into these agreements, it is important that students develop a solid understanding of the processes, rules and regulations that govern N.I.L. deals in Oregon.
