Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School – Educational Strategies Advanced

In this advanced level CTE course, students will serve ONCE a week in a feeder school classroom in order to incorporarte independent study and support for the Intro to Education class as part of this capstone experience. They will write reflective papers and/or complete assignments related to the internship. Students will complete their Philosophy of Education paper and compile a mock employment portfolio of their work over the three years. Students are responsible for transporation to and from school sites by walking, Tri-Met, bike, or with permission from parents by private vehicle.
Prerequisites: Intro to Education 1-2 and Educational Internship 1-2
