Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School – Educational Internship 3-4

In this advanced level CTE course, returning students will again be out in feeder schools TWICE a week starting in October. Students will again increase the level of involvement and responsibility in their host classrooms. Students will create and implement at least one lesson or project per semester that reflects their learning and present it to students they work with at the internshipt site as part of this capstone experience. Students will complete their Philosophy of Education paper and compile a mock employment portfolio of their work over the three years. Students are responsible for transporation to and from school sites by walking, Tri-Met, bike, or with permission from parents by private vehicle.
