Students in this project-based course create a portfolio of work that demonstrates mastery of 3D design through sculpture or the ceramic process. In this process, students will demonstrate their drawing and drafting skills in a sketchbook. The portfolio needs to demonstrate their attention to quality, a sustained investigation, and a wide breadth of conceptual approaches to 3D design. Students may produce written analyses of their work and are eligible for college credit if they score well on the portfolio. There may be a fee for materials that are taken home. <br /><br />Prerequisite: Ceramics: Intermediate 3-4.
