Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School – AP 2D Art and Design: Photography

Photography is a course that explores a variety of photographic processes, styles and concepts. Students will capture, create and manipulate images that reflect an investigation theme throughout this course. A variety of processes will be demonstrated in thea reas of digital and alternative processes. There will be emphasis on creative problem solving, craftsmanship, development of personal voice and style, student driven artistic goals and AP exam submission requirements. Students are expected to complete a series of images over the summer before their AP course and throughout the year present 10-15 images every three weeks to the class in onging critiques. This class is aligned with the National Standards for Arts related curriculum
