Harrison High School – Physical Conditioning for Athletes

Designed for the student who participates in one or more of the following sports at Harrison: Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track, and Volleyball. This course is designed to personalize training while building on the principles for success from physical conditioning. The focus is on training for strength and power in the weight room with an emphasis on complex and power training. A variety of warmups are used to prepare for training with a focus on all phases of movement: acceleration, linear, speed, and multidirectional. All of the training tools (bungies, parachutes and harnesses) will be used to advance the learning curve. This is a class for the highly motivated student interested in serious and specific training.
