Leadership In Action (LIA) offers an asset-based approach to bridging the graduation and opportunity gap for students, working from within the educational system to create positive change. Personal assets, excellence in education, service, and leadership are the four pillars of Leadership In Action. Through culturally responsive social and emotional learning, college and career readiness, and interpersonal development, Leadership in Action empowers youth who desire to expand their academic performance, leadership skills, and service opportunities, thereby strengthening their community.  (All courses fulfill the fine arts requirement for graduation.)
