This AP course is intended to address a very broad interpretation of two-dimensional (2-D) design issues. This type of design involves purposeful decision-making about how to use the elements and principles of art in an integrative way. It is for the advanced student who wishes to seek AP credit through submitting a Portfolio of work for consideration by the College Board. The content will include the advanced study of the elements of design and the advanced study of the principles of design. Choosing an AP course, the student understands it is taught at a college level and once chosen will not be able to receive a schedule change without proof of content struggle and success meeting with teacher and administration.
