AP Art History is designed for students who are interested in an enriching and practical understanding of art appreciation from a global perspective. Students will gain an understanding of social, political, historical, cultural contexts of civilizations, and art movements of the past, present, and near future. This course is designed to introduce students to the systematic and scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and animals. Students will study the psychological facts, principles and phenomena associated with each of the major subfields within psychology. Students will also learn about the methods psychologists use in their science and practice.

This class surveys the early 1400s to present day European History. Using historical primary and secondary texts, students will hear from the voices of the past while processing concepts in the present context of European attitudes and politics.
