Honors Freshman Language Arts

Prepares students for AP Research in 11th grade. Score based on team research project/presentation, individual research project/presentation, and an exam involving argument analysis.

College-level course for critical reading and writing analytical and argumentative essays. Includes the senior thesis.

Focuses on the critical analysis of imaginative literature and how language provides meaning. Includes the senior thesis.

Follows GCPS AKS and includes district assessments. Covers pre-modern history with content scaffolding.

Focuses on essay writing and reading. Starts at 1200 CE and culminates in the AP exam.

Provides more scaffolding of content than AP. Prepares students for the Georgia Milestones exam.

Combined with AP US Government into one class space. Prepares students for two College Board examinations.

Study of national income, output, price level determination, monetary/fiscal policy, and economic principles applying to individual decision-makers.
