Gibson Ek High School – WANIC Programs
Apr 2026 · 2nd Semester
Career-focused half-day programs providing high school credit. Available courses include: automotive, aviation, building trades, medical (health sciences), art and animation, video games (DigiPen Game Design), tech careers (hardware networking), firefighting (Fire/EMS), culinary, science lab work, and sound design. Most programs run 2.5 hours daily for the entire school year. All year-long programs fulfill the Washington State Graduation Pathway requirement via the CTE Sequence Option. Some courses offer dual enrollment college credit.
Prerequisites: Must be on track to graduate; requires advisor and counselor approval; students must provide own transportation to WANIC locations (DigiPen, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and various Eastside high schools)
