This course is a survey of world literature, with emphasis placed on the following genres: short stories, novels, drama, poetry, epic, and non-fiction. Students study grammar through writing, frequent compositions, and vocabulary development.

Formalizes and extends mathematics from middle grades, deepening understanding of linear relationships, exponential phenomena, and linear models. Requires the Georgia Milestones End-of-Course test.

Focuses on transformations, congruence, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, circles, and quadratic expressions/equations. Explores links between probability and data.
