This course is for any student who has some formal dance training and is proficient in at least one dance form. It builds on the skills taught in Beginner Dance. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency in several forms of dance. The study of history, physiology, dance theory, choreography, dance vocabulary, and dance critique continues at a more advanced level as technical and creative aspects are introduced.
