Art Independent Study 1: All available course work in the student’s visual arts focus area and teacher permission. Art Independent Study 2, 3, or 4: An earlier art independent study course and teacher permission. These courses may not be available at all high schools. Prerequisites: One previous art course. To earn the IB diploma, students must take one class in the IB Arts curriculum (either music or art). Students are required to produce high quality finished works of art to be displayed as an exhibition. Students must also submit their process portfolio as evidence of their exploration
