War and Reconstruction This course offers students an opportunity to participate in an in- depth study of the Civil War and Reconstruction. While exploring the causes of this conflict, students examine social, political, and economic events that led to the increase of industrialization, the expansion of the Social studies courses draw upon the wealth of information and insight to be found in anthropology, history, psychology, economics, geography, political science, and sociology.
